Trend Data Anuran occupancy in WRP, ag, and forested habitats in the Lower Mississippi River Valley of Louisiana and Arkansas
Location: Lower Mississippi Valley in the Tensas River Basin in Louisiana ; Louisiana - Tensas River Basin
The objective of this study was to assess anuran benefits of the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), where previously used agricultural land is converted to a wetland. These WRP sites are compared to sites still in agriculture and more natural forested sites.

Trend Data Anuran occupancy in WRP, ag, and forested habitats in the Lower Mississippi River Valley of Louisiana and Arkansas
Location: Lower Mississippi Valley in Lower White/Cache River Basins in Arkansas ; Arkansas - Lower White/Cache River Basins
The objective of this study was to assess anuran benefits of the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), where previously used agricultural land is converted to a wetland. These WRP sites are compared to sites still in agriculture and more natural forested sites.
Trend Data Anuran Occupancy Among WRP and Ag Lands
Location: We had 30 WRP sites and 20 Ag sites in the Delta from southern Coahoma County to northern Warren ... ; Mississippi Delta
We used anurans as an indicator to assess the conservation benefits of the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP). WRP sites were compared to agricultural sites, which is prevalent throughout the Mississippi Delta. Anuran occupancy is suited as an indicator of the conservation benefits of the WRP because it is robust to variation in the observation process (i.e. imperfect detection) and provides a useful metric for comparison across sites.
Trend Data Big Thicket National Preserve Occupancy Monitoring VES/VOC: Acris blanchardi, Eleutherodactylus cystignathoides, Gastrophryne carolinensis, Hyla chrysoscelis, Hyla cinerea, Incilius nebulifer, Lithobates catesbeianus, Lithobates clamitans, Lithobates grylio, Lithobates sphenocephalus, Pseudacris crucifer, Pseudacris fouquettei ( American Bullfrog, Blanchard's Cricket Frog, Cope's Gray Treefrog, Eastern Narrow-mouthed Toad, Green Frog, Green Tree Frog, Pig Frog, Rio Grande Chirping Frog, Southern Leopard Frog, Spring Peeper)
Location: The area of inference is a bottomland swamp north of I10 extending about 7 km, east of Beaumont, ... ; Above Saltwater Barrier
The goal of this study is to monitor anuran occupancy using standard protocols while also recording salinities, as this area is below a saltwater barrier on the Neches River and is susceptible to saltwater encroachment during tropical storm surges or periods of drought, which may impact anuran occupancy. We also added 20 sites north of the saltwater barrier as reference sites in 2012.
Trend Data Ambystomatid Salamander Monitoring at Kisatchie National Forest
Location: The inference area is primarily all of Kisatchie Bayou Campground Area east of Kisatchie Bayou, w... ; Kisatchie District, Kisatchie Bayou Campground Area
The goals of this study are to 1.) estimate the number of adults of each species using the pond, 2.) determine the reproductive effort of adults (number of egg masses), 3.) estimate the density of larvae and predators in the pond, and 4.) examine the yearly variability in phenology of breeding among species.
